FAQs
What kinds of jobs do you take on?
I focus on small handyman jobs — the everyday fixes and punch-list items. Things like minor repairs, fixture swaps, touch-up painting, and general home maintenance. I don’t take on major electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, or structural work.
Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes. My minimum charge is $80. This helps cover the time, tools, and travel it takes to come out. From there, every job is quoted at a clear, fixed price before I begin.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. I offer free, no-obligation estimates. For most jobs, you can text or email me a picture or short video, and I can give you a quote without even coming out.
Do you charge hourly or by the job?
: I charge a fixed rate per job, not by the hour. That way you know exactly what it will cost with no surprises.
Are you licensed or insured?
I only take on jobs that don’t require a specialty license. For bigger work like wiring, HVAC, or new plumbing lines, you’ll need a licensed contractor. I can provide insurance details upon request.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. If something isn’t right, I’ll come back and make it right.
Do you bring the materials?
It depends on the job. For most installs, like faucets, knobs, or light fixtures, the homeowner provides the parts. For certain repairs — such as toilet internals or items where I know the right fit — I can provide the parts. Either way, I’ll make it clear up front so there are no surprises.
How do I schedule a job?
Just call, text, or email me. I’ll get back to you quickly with an estimate and schedule a time that works.
How soon can you start a job?
Most small jobs can be scheduled within a few days. I’ll confirm a time that works best for you when you request an estimate
Do you work evenings or weekends?
I mostly work standard daytime hours, but I can sometimes schedule evenings or Saturdays if needed. Just ask when you reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
How do you accept payment?
I accept cash, check, or card payments. Payment details are always clear before I begin the work
What if I’m not sure if my job is too small?
That’s exactly what I do. I specialize in the little jobs that often get left undone. If you’re unsure, just send me a photo or description and I’ll let you know.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes. I always clean up the work area so you’re left with a finished job, not a mess.
